Swargadwari situated in the Pyuthan district in the western region of Nepal at 1740m. It is an important pilgrimage site for the Hindus. Swargadwari is also famous for the Vedic Yagyan set up by Swami Shree Hansananda Giri Sworgadwari Mahaprabhu. Legend has it that the king of all deities; Indra had also performed a Yagyan in Satya Yuga at this place. It is "a must see" destination for Hindu pilgrims. There is the Swargadwari temple. Many believe that the Swargadwari Guru Maharaj was an incarnation of God.

According to Hindu Mythology, Pancha Pandava, on their way to Heaven, had performed some religious rituals in the area of Swargadwari in Pyuthan District. So, the place is called Swargadwari, meaning " The Way to Heaven ".

Maha Prabhu Swami Hansananda Giri, born in Rolpa district in 1860, showed some miraculous behaviors when he was six days old by fasting in his childhood as a penance for his mother's diet of meat.

Then, after he got sagedom in 1886, the Swami started blessing the infertile couple making them fertile and fortune telling. Later, the sage Giri, in 1894 moved to Swarga dwari with his followers and build a Shiva Temple and Yagya Sala, place for performing rituals.

Swargadwari , offering panoramic views in a tranquil and peaceful surroundings, has been the ground for continuous " Akhanda Maha Yagya", a great religious ceremony for the last 113 years. The God, Brihaspati from Heaven is supposed to arrive and complete the Maha Yagya. Hundreds of sages and their hermitages, cows, Sadhu etiquettes, Agni Kunda etc. are the other attractions which spark a spiritual and religious fervor in visitors.

It is believed that a pilgrimage to the place opens door for Heaven and whishes are fulfilled.

Route:

Kathmandu- Pyuthan- Sworgadawari/Pyuthan-kathmandu

Day 01: Our Bus will come pick up you at the Koteshwor - New Baneshwor - Maitighar - Sundhara - Kalimati - Kalanki transfer from Kathmandu to Pyuthan which is very memorable journey. On the way, we will give you 1.5 hours to visit Devghat, Chitwan. That will gives you the inspiration to your aim to homage to pay the lord of way of Heaven. Which will takes about 9 to 10 hours driving distance to reach in Khalanga, Pyuthan.

Day 02: You will visit Jhakresthan just 30 min. walk from Khalanga Bazar. After Lunch, We will drive you up in the Hill and to worship goddess of Swargadwari. Overnight stay at Swargadwari Dharmashala at the top of the Hill, Swargadwari.

Day 03: Morning Lunch at 10:30 AM, you will transfer from Swargadwari, Pyuthan to Lumbini, Bhairahawa for your kind pilgrimage tour as well. Overnight stay at Lumbini / Bhairahawa.

Day 04: You get full time to visit Lumbini, Lunch at 11:00 AM we will pick you at 11:30 AM from Lumbini gate and transfer from Lumbini to Kathmandu.
