Island Climbing Peak is located on the top of the Chukung glacier between Ama Dablam and Lhotse mountains. Because of its challenging geographical conditions, island peak climbing is the most sought after trekking destination.
The combination of Everest base camp and Island Peak climbing is probably the best trip in Nepal abroad by adventure seekers. From Dingboche the mountain is seen as an island in a sea of ice. The giant mountains like Nuptse (7879m), Lhotse (8501m), Lhotse middle peak (8410m), and Cholatse (8383m) are also viewed from the summit.
